Coach Greg Castillo is a “Louisiana Icon” when the topic is: Best of the Best of Louisiana Girls’ Volleyball coaches, no matter the level. He attended St. Bernard Parish Public Schools including Meraux Elementary, Chalmette Middle and was a 1978 graduate of Chalmette High School. Before Mr. Castillo’s High School graduation, he garnered awards (honors) such as “Mr. Chalmette High” as well as being bestowed leader of the marching band – Drum Major. Coach also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Orleans. He was also a product of our St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department and groomed at playgrounds like 4th Ward/Rebel Park.
